Sick article dude. I agree I think it's just a transition period with LeBron, KD, and Steph on the way out but the NBA has to showcase their young talent more and stop hanging on to the old guys so much
Great article, Ben. While a great athlete, LeBron has been the leader of the problem. He plays soft, the league is seen as soft, and his dramatics ruin the credibility of how great the NBA is. BTW, Tatum is seen the same way by many as he is always looking at the Refs for a foul call. I get that the league has changed for a more "offense" oriented product, but its still hard to watch. Also, as a life long Laker fan, LeBron hasn't owned much of anything for the franchise; Elgin, the Logo, Kareem, Magic, Kobe, and SO many others mean more to Lakers organization than LbJ ever could. By the way, Kobe will always eat LeBrons lunch!! 😀 Mamba out. RIP.
True. Tatum has the skill, just not the mental part mastered. He needs to stop wanting to be handed "respect", and get out on the court and earn it. His game should do the talking for him. MJ & Kobe did their share of complaining to the Refs for calls, but they never stopped playing just to argue and allow the other team to have an advantage on the other end of the court. Way too much of that in the NBA today IMHO.
Great article! So true that one college season limits the fans' connection to the NBA players.

Seems like the biggest thing Tatum missed in replicating Kobe’s game is the attitude
